The fund raising party held at Louis and Corrine’s house in Wayzata on April 9th was a huge success. We had over 50 people in attendance and raised over $12,000 !! The Farmall 400 was the center piece, parked right outside the front door. Mark came out for the weekend from Washington DC, and his message that he delivered, regarding his first hand experience of seeing the very manual labor farming systems in Burkina Faso was compelling. A few of the guests had a chance to get their photo taken on the tractor. In addition to the funds we raised, one of the party guests committed his tractor (which is similar to the Farmall 400 we’re sending) for our next shipment.
