Our second tractor had an excellent season in Burkina Faso in 2017. This shipment arrived approx one month earlier than our first shipment in 2016. This enabled a full season of soil preparation and planting. Justin did a wonderful job, scheduling and working 250 acres of land with both tractors, this was a 5 fold increase vs last year. The Farmall 460 proved to be a much better performer vs the Farmall 400, a key advantage was the 460 is field with diesel, which proved to be more economical. The disc was a heavier disc vs the first shipment, which was move effective in working the land. For this shipment we sent 2 tons of fertilizer. This was a welcome donation for the local farms in Burkina Faso and we expect significant yield increases with this. We have learnt a lot in the last year and looking for ongoing improvements on future shipments.
